Teachers who will go above and beyond for Michigan's Persistently Lowest Achieving (PLA) students, innovate in their classrooms, and welcome individualized professional development and competitive pay for increased responsibility. We are looking for teachers who will make a difference in Michigan and who will set an example across the nation.
Disposition, Values, and Skills in EAA teachers:
Teachers must have experience with urban youth, value diversity, and support the whole child's learning, social, and emotional development.
Teachers must be proven leaders both in and out of the classroom
Teachers must believe in the potential of all learners and demonstrate eagerness to go above and beyond for all students.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Possesses or is eligible for a valid Michigan Teaching License. Learn more about applying for appropriate certification as well as testing requirements.
Strong instructional skills and classroom management
